Choices - They Add Up

It starts out so innocent. Just one more bite, it tastes so good; just one more look, no one needs to know; Just one more time, I know it's not right but it's our little secret; it was just a cuss word, not the end of the world. It all adds up though. Everything we say, think and do makes us who we are. It is our choices that make or break us. The words of this song are amazing and true in any ones life. It is a slow fade, something we don't even realize is happening until we are lost, trapt or entangled and looking wildly for a way out. Read these lyrics and reflect on your own life and ask yourself if the choices you made today or on a regular basis would have a negative impact on you or your loved ones.

My prayer to You this morning Father:

"Dear Lord, I have failed You at so many points in my life. I have repeatedly done as I wish and have made the wrong choices over and over. I can say from experience God that it is a slow fade as we live our lives in this world and forget to renew ourselves in you daily. I am so thankful that You save us by Grace Father. A grace that transcends all time and space (Romans 8:28-30; Ephesians 1:11,12). I praise You in my weakness because in my weakness You are made strong. Help me to understand and accept the grace You freely offer and the forgiving power of the blood of Jesus Christ upon that cross many years ago. I give my life to You Lord. Take my faults and heal me, mend me. I know I can do nothing by my own strength. I love You so much Jesus. Touch my life today, heal my spirit, forgive me of my sins and draw me close to You in every way. Change my heart and teach me to draw close to you in Spirit. I want a true, real, powerful and intimate relationship with You Lord. I realize this is the only way I will truly walk according to Your will and in the light. May the life I live change hearts God and renew. I dedicate my life to you from this point forward. I will not look back and I will live free through Your Holy Spirit by mercy and grace. I love you my Father; my precious savior; in Jesus Holy name, Amen."
